Cognitive-Communication Consequences of Acquired Brain Injury w/ Dr. O’Neil-Pirozzi

This course will define acquired brain injury (ABI), describe common types, and focus on common mild, moderate, and severe cognitive-communication consequences of each.  Emphasis will be placed on evidence-supported strategies to facilitate individuals’ language, attention, memory, and executive functioning.  Active attendee engagement will be encouraged throughout the course.
