Tip #1
- Fatigue

Fatigue is a common and very disabling symptom experienced by people with a brain injury. It may be a continual sense of mental fatigue or it can happen when a person is trying to do too much and the brain is overloaded, often resulting in mind-numbing fatigue that can last for several days.

- Overstimulation

Many brain injury survivors will find themselves facing more overstimulation than normal. This stimulation can cause additional brain fatigue and stress, and in some situations, both fear and panic set in.

There is so much focus on food these days. All year and during the holidays food is everywhere! Most of us have the goal of maintaining our weight and healthy habits throughout the year. But we also want to enjoy the season’s bounties with friends and family. Here are some tips on doing just that.

Stress is a normal response to ongoing daily hassles, which may be worsened after brain injury, or a major life event such as a job interview, moving houses, starting a new rehabilitation program, or the holidays.
