About the Campaign
Over 9,000 Vermonters live with the daily challenges of surviving a brain injury. Brain injury ranks as the leading cause of death and disability in children and young adults. For those who survive and their families, brain injury can be life-altering, with serious impairments a frequent result.
- More than 3,000 Vermonters will visit the emergency room because of a head injury.
- 450 Vermonters sustain a moderate to severe brain injury each year. The leading cause of brain injury are falls, motor vehicle accidents & sports injuries.
- 70% of individuals are discharged to home with little or no support.
We are the only organization in Vermont dedicated to serving people and advocating for those who have suffered severe neurological trauma.
Today, we serve over 1,000 Vermont families and survivors.
We created this campaign for everyone to contribute at various impact levels. Be sure to review the ways you can make an impact and please share this page with your family and friends.
