Join us and yoga teacher of 17 years, Kerry Donnelly while we do a beginner Gentle Chair Yoga session!
This gentle form of yoga is practiced sitting on a chair or standing and using the chair for support during standing poses and balance. Chair yoga is especially suitable for those with disabilities, older adults and people with balance or coordination issues . Chair yoga helps increase flexibility, lung capacity, circulation and strength, improves balance, and relieves stress. The class incorporates breathing exercises, stretching, yoga postures, and relaxation.
